Gosh, I haven't written for a few days, even though I promised to.
Sebastian's little operation to remove his "cables" was successful. He was nervous and scared before, and even woke up the night before and came into our room crying, but he gathered his courage on the day, and was just fine. We have to wait a week until he can take a bath or go swimming.
Although we weren't given the OK to start on the maintenance therapy (which will last the next 12 months, and consists of him taking low-dose chemo tablets every night), the doctors did say we could go out and be among people again.
We went to the zoo today, and out to eat too! We haven't been to a restaurant all together since October, so that was a treat. On Monday both Sebastian and Stella will start day care again.
I already started work again, and went in a few hours this past week. I will start at 15 hours a week in the office, and an additional 10 at home, and I hope within the next month or two I can work up to 25 hours in the office. By the summer, I want to be up to 30 hours a week, and will keep it topped there.
Stella has been having a hard time going to sleep at night. She is usually a really good sleeper, and easy to put to bed. So I hate to make the guess again, but maybe teeth? Still no pearly whites yet.
I will put up pictures soon, I promise! I am just to tired to upload them to the computer tonight.
