Hi everyone,

I am putting on some pictures of Sebastian's 3rd birthday. They have 'misplaced' their digital camera so these have been scanned in.

Sebastian has begun his second phase of chemo. He has a one hour IV dose and then he has to have an 8 hour IV drip to flush out his kidneys and bladder. I know his legs have been hurting him and he has a difficult time walking. They really push eating and drinking, too.

Stella is a good baby, and does alot of the baby things, eat, sleep, poop (maybe not in that order)!

Look for a special post on this blog sometime soon. I think Suzanne is planning on writing!

Please continue all the wonderful prayers and support. They mean so much!

Sebastian's tests results came back and the cancer cells were down, which is good. They will check again on day 64 (about a month from now). They were scheduled to have a chemo treatment today, but Sebastian's white blood cell count was down (this is normal) so they have to wait a couple days. He has not been eating and drinking as much since he is done with his cortizone so he is looking skinny. His legs seem really skinny since he has not been walking around as much and is losing muscle tone. Suz said he has been really tired this past week also.
I know we are all praying for them. Thank you so much. Love, Jenith
This week was day 33 for Sebastian, so he had another bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture. The results from this will decide his next round of treatment. They are hoping that all of the cancer cell values will be lower than they were when Sebastain was first diagnosed. Sebastain is almost (if not) finished with taking the Prednizone (cortizone), and they are glad about that.

Little Stella is doing good and Suzanne said that she is not a very fussy baby-but doesn't sleep as much as Seb did.

Pray that Sebastian's results come back positive. I know that all of your prayers and thoughts have really helped so far.

I will write when I know information about the test results and the next round of treatments.

Jenith

PS-Happy Birthday Sebastian!! He was 3 yesterday (March 15th)

Hello,
Sorry I have not updated the blog for a while. Our Grandma Jennie passed away last week, so it has been kind of a crazy time.

Sebastian got to meet his baby sister Stella last week. He showed her his cars and Miss Ducky and even gave her kisses. He had a hard time remembering her name, so he callled her "baby" or "das" ("that")!

Michi and his mom cut Sebastian's hair last week because it was getting very long, but Suzanne says he has not lost any yet.

They are home for now and are taking things day by day. Your continued prayers and support are greatly appreciated. Jenith

Welcome Stella Lucy!!!

Hi Everyone! The baby is here a week early!! Stella Lucy was born March 2, 2007 at 10:52 PM Vienna (CET) time. She is healthy, weighs approximately 7 pounds and is a little over 19 inches long. Suzanne's labor went very smooth and fast! She was at the hospital under 2 hours when Stella was born! Suz and Stella are both doing very well. When they told Sebastian he had a little sister, I think he was more concerned about watching his movie and eating soup! Congratulations Suz, Michi, and Sebas!!

Sebastian had rounds of chemo done on Thurdsay and Friday. They went ok. He is staying back at the hospital for now, too. He has a slight temp. and redness in one ear so they are watching that. Michi's mom is staying in the hospital with him now.

Suzanne is scheduled to leave the hospital on Tuesday and then both she and Stella will be able to visit Sebastian. Thank you so much for all your continued prayers and support. Love, Aunt Jenith!
